On 8 November 2019 the President of Turkmenistan issued Resolution No. 1487, “On the Construction of Buildings and Facilities in the New Modern Administrative Centre of Ahal Province.” Under this decree our private enterprise built the Arkadag Building. The project signifies the nation’s rapid strides toward new heights of progress. The structure rises to 43 metres, while its surrounding fountain has a diameter of 65 metres. Atop the central column, gold‑plated wheat ears shine as an artistic symbol of the country’s abundance and prosperity. Erected in the “Year of Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” during the Revival of a New Epoch for the Powerful State, the Arkadag Building embodies the successful execution of the objectives set out in the “Programme for the Socio‑Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2019‑2025,” aimed at boosting living standards and driving comprehensive regional growth.
