On 23 August 2014 the Mayor of Ashgabat issued Resolution No. 1186, “On the Construction of a Tennis Court on the Site Adjacent to the ‘Ashgabat’ Stadium in the Chandybil District of the Capital.” Under this decree the facility was built by our private enterprise. During the prosperous era of our independent state, and under the wise leadership of the esteemed President, the “National Programme for the Promotion and Development of Physical Culture and Sport in Turkmenistan for 2011‑2020” is being implemented. Its goals are to elevate Turkmen sport to world standards, broadly engage the population in physical activity, foster a well‑rounded younger generation, and create favourable conditions for training skilled athletes of international calibre. The tennis court constructed by our company is intended to modernise the nation’s sports infrastructure, advance physical culture in all respects, nurture a well‑developed youth, prepare top‑level teams, and host competitions of any scale.
